Thanks to the compassion and generosity of hundreds of donors, volunteers and congregations across the country, the 2026 CWS Menstrual Hygiene Day campaign was a tremendous success.

Coming Together to Share Care

In honor of International Menstrual Hygiene Day on May 28, churches, community groups and individual supporters assembled CWS Period Packs and Hygiene Kits, helping provide essential supplies to neighbors facing difficult times.

One participant from a South Dakota congregation captured the spirit of the campaign in a few simple words:

“Women helping women. It doesn’t get much better than that.”

Across the country, volunteers gathered in fellowship halls, community rooms and homes to assemble packs that share care, dignity and hope. Others supported the effort through financial gifts, helping CWS provide supplies where they are needed most.

Making a Difference Every Day

The impact of that generosity is already being felt. One partner organization, Neighbors Helping Neighbors, recently shared this message:

“Thank you for sharing CWS Period Packs and Hygiene Kits. They are needed — and making a difference — every day.”

The need for these supplies continues throughout the year. Thanks to the generosity of donors and volunteers, CWS has already shared 3,065 Period Packs and more than 60,300 Hygiene Kits in 2026, helping provide essential supplies to neighbors facing difficult times.

While International Menstrual Hygiene Day highlights the need for menstrual supplies, many participants also assembled CWS Hygiene Kits, extending care and compassion to even more people in need.

Thank You for Sharing Care and Dignity

Thank you to every congregation donor, and volunteer who participated in this year’s campaign. Your generosity is already making a difference.
